In the context of a Health Magazine, some might question whether the topic of ‘cleaning’ has enough roots in wellness, to justify a regular place in our lifestyle features list.
Based on many factors, we’ve always upheld the relevance of this topic, and not just because of how interlinked cleanliness and health have recently become, off the back of living through a global pandemic.
In addition, cleaning can impart many therapeutic effects, many of which are owing to its ability to distract and de-stress - something that has been shown to be especially true of washing up and decluttering. What’s also noteworthy, is that ‘cleaning’ is a portal to discussion on one of the most relevant health topics of all - chemical exposure. This is one of the main reasons we continue to peddle the cleaning angle, and why we’ve enjoyed working with brands including Opal Eco and Surecare over the years.
Collaborating with these brands, and taking the time to understand and communicate the unique advantages they can bring, has only made us more convinced, that the ‘how-to’ of health and wellness is not necessarily as ‘clean cut’ as the ‘health magazine’ stereotype sometimes suggests.
