When it comes to creating lifestyle imagery, I’m rather partial to a prop or two…or should I say, one prop in particular. 🚙

It’s not the most practical of scene-setters, granted, but what the Nissan Figaro lacks in reliability… it more than makes up for in versatility, having provided a visual anchor for many a photo shoot over the years!

Today, the occasion of a collaboration with KNOMO London, afforded the fig its first assignment of the year, and an on-location opportunity arguably too good not to milk for all its #prettylittletrips worth!

These days, the *almost* vintage run-around might not get out very much, but when it does, it always serves as a reminder of just how much driving, has the potential to be about so much more than the A to B!!

It’s about the feels, just as much as the wheels, you could say!

By a similar vein, packing for a holiday is not - for great many of us, at least - a purely functional process.

Done right, packing is a ritual of mood-lifting, anticipation-building and anxiety-reducing proportions. So much so, that short-cutting to the bare bundle-everything-in bones of holiday prep, tends more often than not to go against the very stress-free essence that ‘packing off!’ to warmer climes leads by, in the ‘health’ sphere at least!

By drawing attention to this secret sauce of soft tops - and even softer bag straps - I hope to have crafted a somewhat slower holiday aesthetic to the one currently being foregrounded in the media.

In the event that this hasn’t come across, well… I guess it’s props for trying!?
